Berikut ini adalah presentasi yang Saya sampaikan di sebuah kuliah tamu di UMY. Presentasi tersebut membahas mengenai 3 poin utama. Pertama, tentang tren audit di masa lalu, sekarang dan masa yang akan datang, beserta dengan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh profesi auditor dewasa ini. Kedua, mengenai tantangan profesi akuntan di Indonesia, termasuk bagaimana profesi ini di Indonesia "terancam punah" dengan adanya beberapa faktor penghambat. Dan ketiga, tentang analisa mengapa akuntan Indonesia sulit bersaing di pasar akuntan global. Di pembahasan yang ketiga ini disertai juga tentang kontribusi yang dapat diberikan dunia pendidikan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut.
